Good news: CLT has a lot of amazing options for date nights in the QC - and to make things easier – whether married, casual, committed or first time Hinge dates - our Urban MVMNT community selected probably the best CLT dates in the categories of ACTIVE, ARTSY, DAY DESTINATION, DOG FRIENDLY, FOODIE, and GAMER.
Thursday’s at 6:30PM the place to be for an active date night is at Pasta and Provisions for their weekly Run Club.

Start out with a run through the surrounding Park Road neighborhood and then stick around to enjoy the intimate patio and affordable fresh pasta and killer wine and beer selection. Winning shareable combo: Cobb Salad (which includes the biggest, juiciest, pieces of bacon you will ever see) and the fresh Garlic Rosemary Fettuccine with Pomodoro Sauce and homemade Meatballs. ” – Julie Brauer

Around almost every corner in South End you can see Instagram-able street art, murals and larger-than-life installations. The local South End celebrates its growing art scene the first Friday of each month for Art Walk South End. Galleries and shops extend their hours, offering special events, and live painting and music.
South End is full of art – and walking with an artist and curator who guide you to the art filled spots and illuminate the minutiae is a great conversation starter. Along with the fun you can have between just you and your date, you also get to meet a lively group of interesting people to jabber with. I love seeing the latest additions to the neighborhood, whether art, bar or retail”. - Cindy Woodlief
Honorable mentions: Charlotte Ballet, Artisans Palate, Mint Museum
